Canmore & Area Health Care Foundation Annual Report: April 1 2020 - March 31 2021
Integrity. Transparency. Accountability.
We invite you to read our 2020/21 Annual Report that highlights contributions to Canmore & Area Health Care Foundation (CAHCF) and reports back to our donors and the community about our activities. This Annual Report was created as a transparent tool to inform our stakeholders about our year that included so many remarkable achievements. It also acts as a key accountability piece that demonstrates the work of CAHCF while highlighting the crucial role fundraising plays in the delivery of healthcare in the Bow Valley and beyond.
Commitment to Health Care in Our Community
Every year, we work closely with Canmore General Hospital’s staff across departments to determine priority needs including equipment, programmatic and facility upgrades. When you generously donate, we commit to funding identified departmental needs, helping to support the amazing health care teams working to deliver exceptional care in our community. The year 2020-21 proved to be one of the great challenges but we are incredibly proud to share the remarkable accomplishments of CAHCF because none of this would have been possible without you.
“Not only did we rise to the truly unfathomable occasion, but we also crossed the finish line on our largest capital campaign in the Canmore & Area Health Care Foundation’s history. In this report, you will learn about the “Feels Like Home” Golden Eagle View Long-Term Care Enhancement Project; an inspirational program to deliver meals to staff members championed by a community member; thousands of dollars spent to buy new hospital equipment; and more.” said Board Chair, Steven Scott.
We are committed to constantly taking a critical look at where we’ve come from in order to pave a mindful path into the future. With the creation of our Annual Report for 2020/2021 we’ve also put together a Strategic Plan for 2021 thru 2023.
