Women's Health
Obstetrics is the key women’s health component that receives funding from the Canmore and Area Health Care Foundation. Recently funds from the Foundation have been directed for the purchase of a Panda Infant Warmer and Resuscitation Unit as well as a birthing bed. Babies born with jaundice benefit from the phototherapy unit and to ensure healthy deliveries, a fetal monitor was sourced.
There are annually approximately 325 births at the Canmore General Hospital.
